We had the good fortune of connecting with Kempes Jeanlouis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kempes, what principle do you value most?
Respectfully I’m big on being humbled. At the end of the day don’t think you’re better than the next person. Even if you’re in a better position than the next person, they still can add value to your craft

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
To be completely real do what you love. Don’t care about what the next person wants from you if you have a vision go out there and grind. I think what sets me apart is the fact I never feel satisfied. It’s amazing to know people are proud of you but I just never feel like it’s enough. It definitely wasn’t easy I was just experiencing a change in my life at the time. Relationship and just life in general which made me hit a point in my life where only I could take myself out from. Getting through that, the rest was history. The grind is different.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Music is my life as music as I live for music, I can say I’m a pretty dope person outside of music. I turn up I can’t even front. We can hit the beach, a few bars. Turn up in a club, you know what’s funny I don’t really dance but it’s all about having a good time I’ll cut up on the dance floor real quick. I think some of the dopest people are the ones who genuinely open minded to anything. I’m honestly down for whatever I’ll make something out of nothing on God.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Honestly, I’d like to thank everyone in my life and my friends who continuously show love day in and out. Just know you guys it doesn’t go unnoticed. The people who constantly message me to continuously express their excitement towards my career and stay invested, thank you you guys are the reason I continue to grind.
