We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristi Data and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kristi, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I am from Middletown, NY and raised in a middle class blue collar family. My Mom was a school teacher for over 20 years, and my Dad was an insurance sales professional for almost 30 years. Both of my parents had side hustles at some point in there career. Mom did real estate and Dad had a handyman business. My Dad was first generation Polish and his family had their own businesses and also worked in the hospitality industry. He had a very strong work ethic and service oriented attitude to help others. I would say my upbringing developed the work ethic that I have today, and the importance of being of service to others.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve been in the medical sales industry for over 20 years, and it has taught me a great deal about building relationships. Relationships and your network are essential and priceless for succeeding in business, especially sales. I’ve been able to create a 6 figure income in my medical sales career, and now striving for the same thing in my online business. I want the world to recognize my brand for being a supportive and inclusive community where you feel valued, seen and accepted.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am pretty new to Miami, and live in the Brickell area. I would ask them what are some of the things that they want to try. We would for sure hit the gym, beach time, take a SoulCycle class, and explore restaurants that neither of us have ever been to.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to shout out my best friend Dr. Delrae Messer who introduced me to personal development, and has been my mentor for the past 10 plus years. I am so excited for the future of what we are creating together to impact more lives and help people create better health, more income, and choice.
