We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristina Akbulut and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kristina, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I’ve always been a creative person. Since childhood, I’ve been passionate about music, dance, storytelling. Over the years, I’ve performed in choirs and duets, taken part in concerts and events, and expressed myself through many artistic forms.

In recent years, I’ve focused on video production, as well as teaching others how to film and edit. I also run my own Instagram blog, which challenges me to constantly create fresh content.

Even before this, I worked as a primary school and English teacher, another creative role where I had to keep students engaged through interactive lessons. Creativity has always been at the heart of everything I do, it’s not just part of my work, it’s part of who I am.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My creative work is all about capturing authenticity real moments, true emotions, and natural beauty.
I specialize in photography and videography, and what sets me apart is my creative, intuitive approach. I listen to my clients and always take their vision into account. I don’t try to impose my style – instead, I aim to bring their ideas to life in a way that feels honest and beautiful. It’s important to me that each client feels heard, seen, and happy with the result.

Another thing that surprises many people is how quickly I deliver my work. I know how exciting it is for people to see their photos or videos right after a special moment. Especially when it comes to events, I often deliver images on the same day, so my clients can immediately relive and share their experience on social media with high-quality visuals.

What I’m most proud of is that I’ve built this journey on my own. Everything I know, I learned through experience, practice, and a lot of passion.

Working with brands, businesses, and individuals has been a huge honor. Every project is personal to me, and I put a lot of care into every detail. Along the way, I’ve learned that you have to rely on yourself and trust your intuition. You don’t need permission to begin – just courage and consistency.

If there’s one thing I want people to know about my brand, it’s that everything I do comes from a place of genuine care and dedication. I’m not just capturing moments – I’m creating something meaningful, and that’s what keeps me going every single day.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This actually happens quite often, when friends are visiting me and Miami. Whenever someone comes here, I make sure to include a celebrity boat tour around the homes of famous people.
It’s such a fun way to see Miami from the water and admire beautiful mansions. People really enjoy seeing where celebrities live, it’s like bringing childhood dreams to life.

After that, I always take them for a walk around Brickell and a ride on the Metromover. It’s a great way to experience the city vibe and see Miami from a different perspective.

And since I absolutely love sushi, I always bring them to places with unlimited sushi, like buffets, because sharing good food is one of the best ways to enjoy the city and connect.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
That’s such a beautiful question, and to be honest, most of the decisions in my life and career have come from within, I’ve always been very independent and self-driven. But I definitely wouldn’t be where I am today without the constant support and encouragement of my close friends, family and specifically my husband.
He’s the person who listens to me, believes in me, and stands by me through every stage of my journey, whether it’s a creative breakthrough or a challenging moment.

I’m also incredibly grateful to my clients and my online community. The people who trust me with their stories, who follow my work, and who send kind messages, they inspire me and remind me why I love what I do.
