Meet Lakeshia Grays | CEO, Founder BSEXpress Delivery

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lakeshia Grays and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lakeshia, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
Outsiders aren’t aware of the demand of retail right now in our industry. When the world was thinking food delivery, I was already thinking 5 years ago that beauty supply products and wigs were only on to be a few off of the list of things being delivered nowadays
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The best life lessons come from just living life and going for what you know. I’ve always known I wanted to be an entrepreneur. It took sometime to find my niche but when I did I found something that made me feel good inside & I just kept chasing that feeling. BSEXpress Delivery wasn’t just an idea it was truly Because I needed something and needed a solution fast. As a single mom of two, you can never have more hours in a day so having the convenience to have salon care services/beauty products delivered same day was something the world needed and so I birthed bsexpress delivery.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Tidal cove aventura is the vibe for me. I’m a very family oriented woman and just having the poolside service and a nice atmosphere for my sons to enjoy themselves and listen to music of course while I work is ultimately my definition of everyday in miami
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Jacqueline Corley is a sister in code who has a podcast educating women of color how to code and the advantages of being involved in technology
