We had the good fortune of connecting with Maribel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Maribel, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is God. Jesus is the foundation of everything I do. Everything I’ve accomplished, every door that’s opened, and every opportunity I’ve received is because of Him. I truly believe He placed this purpose in my heart and continues to guide my path. My brand, Lifted in Faith Movement, was built on that foundation. It’s not just about fitness or having fun—it’s about lifting others up spiritually, mentally, and physically. I show up as my full self, and I give all the glory to God for the platform I’ve been blessed with.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Lifted in Faith Movement is more than just a brand—it’s a community. God placed a vision on my heart to create a space where people could come together, support one another, and be strengthened not just physically, but spiritually and mentally too.

I’m most proud of the community we’ve built, people who show up for themselves and each other, all united by a deeper purpose. The journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced doubt, burnout, and at times, so many outside voices telling me what I should be doing. I had to tune it all out, refocus, and put my full trust in God’s plan. That’s what brought me back to the heart of this movement.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that success isn’t about numbers—it’s about impact. If even one person feels seen, inspired, or closer to God because of what we do, then it’s all worth it.

Lifted in Faith is for anyone craving a space where faith and wellness can exist together. It’s not just a movement—it’s a mission.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting Miami, I’d want her to experience the full spectrum of what makes this city so special. We’d hit all the luxe musts—shopping in the Design District, dinner at iconic spots like Carbone or Casa Tua, and if a major artist is in town, we’re definitely catching a concert. Of course, no Miami trip is complete without time on the water—whether it’s lounging on the beach, jet skiing, or spending the day on a boat with the sun shining and the music flowing.

But it wouldn’t just be about the glam, we’d also make space to reset and recharge. Bright and early, we’re heading to a fitness event or a Pilates class to get our bodies moving. A spa day is a must, Hürrem spa is my favorite. And on Sunday, we’re going to church, then reflecting over matcha at one of my favorite wellness cafés. Miami has this beautiful balance of energy and stillness. It’s a place where you can celebrate life, connect with God, and walk away feeling deeply inspired. That’s the version of Miami I’d want her to experience.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely! There are so many people who deserve recognition for the role they’ve played in my journey. First and foremost, my mother, my brother, and my sister have been my biggest supporters. Their love, prayers, and encouragement have carried me through every season. I also want to shout out my Lifted in Faith Movement family. The community we’ve built together has been a huge source of inspiration and strength. To my friends and everyone I’ve collaborated with—thank you for believing in the vision and helping shape Lifted in Faith Movement into what it is today. And honestly, even random strangers on the street who’ve cheered me on, smiled at my camera, or shown unexpected kindness. They’ve all reminded me that support comes in many forms. This journey is not just mine, it’s ours.
