We had the good fortune of connecting with Merline Thermora and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Merline, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Omg tremendously. I used to be glued on working working working that I felt like my family wasn’t getting any attention from me at all. But, over the years, I’ve learned to balance it all. I’ve learned to pause, take a break when needed and create a schedule for.myself that works and gives me more time to spend with my family. I try not to work or answer the phone business related after a certain time. It’s also good for my mental health as well.
What should our readers know about your business?
What sets Me apart I’d say is my vision and my consistency and how hard I go for what I want. I really don’t like to give up until I get what I want
Most proud of my growth. From where I started to where I am now. It took a lot but I got it done
I got to where I am today by believing in my vision and myself and by praying a lot. It gets tough, I mean really tough but I pray a lot. And my support system wouldn’t let me bend.
I want them to know this girl go a lot of stones thrown at her throughout her Years in business but not.once did she give up. I want them to know this girl is so proud of herself and who she is now. I want them to know, there’s nothing that you can’t do once you push yourself
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m the queen of brunch. I love ambiance scenery so I’d take th to one of favorite spot Barsecco down at brickell or we would go to little hen down in Miami.
I love the beach as well. Tarts my place of peace so.we would definitely go there.
We would also have a girls night in and have some wine and chat about our future
And a day spa at Eau west palm beach is a must
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give Myself a shout out first for not giving up. I want to give God the biggest shout out for always standing by me and showing me the way.
My husband, kids and my mother
Everyone who believes in me and those who dislike my success.
