Hi Michael, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
i want to leave behind books of knowledge & information on how to elevate our culture, on how to develop & find the best version of ourselves. i want to leave behind the most rawest honest documentation of myself, i want to put enough love & good energy into the universe that i’m felt through centuries of time, i want to leave behind beautiful land and property for my future generations, i want to leave behind multiple 7-8 figure business for my children’s children’s children. i want to inspire as many people as i can with the time given to me i want to put as many genuine people in position as possible. i want to be a testimony for others to know that our abilities are limitless & that through gratitude & hard work every dream becomes is achievable. i want to be remembered for my honesty, for my vision, my substance, my fearlessness, my resilience, & my creativity. i want people to remember that i never compromised my character & always remained true to myself no matter what kind of pressures & struggles i may faced i stay the course. it’s not about how you start your journey but how you finish it!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is really everything to me i find so much joy in writing, creating & being the narrator of my journey. I love being transparent & honest & being able to share my wisdom & experiences in my music, i love being in control of my sound & my vision. I love not being limited to how far i can take my ideas when i’m recording i love creating vibes that i would personally love. What sets me apart from other’s is that i create for myself i don’t chase a certain something wether that be numbers, followers, or validation i just vibe how i vibe & say what i’m feeling or thinking in the moment. I am most proud of the artist i’ve become & how i never stop getting better at my craft & constantly growing and evolving, I’ve been making music for 12 + years & i’ve came a very long way from then to now. What i am most excited about is my debut album which i’m in the process of finalizing now, I’ve made around 7 albums that i haven’t released in the last 6 years so this is a really special moment in my life where i feel like i’m at my best & most diverse as man & a artist. The energy is just undeniable the atmosphere feels magical & every other part of my life is reflecting the same energy! I’ve always been obsessed with timing & preparation & i finally feel like it’s time for the world to catch up with me. What i learned along the way is truly love what you do & it never will feel like work & that the more i work on my personal development as a human being the better i become in all areas of my life especially creating & understanding. I want the world to know that my story is special, that i will not allow myself to be put in a box or categorized as one thing i am multi dimensional & multifaceted with many gifts, talents & blessings! & lastly that nothing and nobody will ever stop me from being great, Its really me versus me forever!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m really much a homebody but if my best friend was coming to my city i would pick her up with some spliff’s pre rolled she loves that. we would definitely do some night beach vibes that’s my favorite part of Miami when its late & dark & there’s no one around you get that peace & quiet & nice breeze by the water there’s really nothing like it maybe a little bit of wine & some good conversation like we always have. we would definitely hit up some good food spots North Miami Haitian food spots are really good i would definitely take her to Papamigos that’s my favorite taco truck spot they have the best jerk chicken tacos i’ve ever had in life. jet skis are always fun too i think we would definitely do that. Brickell for the high up city views at night & also maybe hit up The Smoking Pie Bar/Lounge because i know she likes to go out and smoke hookah i really like that spot because they play really good music that i normally hear back at home in New York.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Yea i definitely want to shout out my Father & my best friend Jamilex. My pops always been there for me even being locked up for 20 years of my life he always found a way to support love & guide me from behind those walls. He gave me that compassion that loving side, without him i know i would be a completely cold non empathetic person with no true belief in love. Literally anything i ever done he has been behind me, he really taught me at a young age what to look out for always making sure that i learned from his mistakes without his guidance & love i just know i wouldn’t be who i am today so i’m super grateful for him. & my best friend Jamilex who has been there for me & has helped me grow into the man i am today always has supported me as well & being someone i can count on. I’ve always been so use to being there for others, she was one of the main people as a adult who has been there for me equally. one of my biggest day one supporters when it comes to my music & poetry i’m really grateful for her she keeps me grounded, keeps the love flowing in my life, & also challenges & encourages me to be better.
