We had the good fortune of connecting with Nahila Campos and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nahila, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Onda was born from what I love most about this industry, and the desire to serve clients differently.

It’s something I’d envisioned for years. My goal was not only to tackle the challenges I saw too often in traditional agencies, but also to create a firm where what we do, who we do it for, and how we do it are fully aligned with my own personal values. I wanted to build a model that feels like the kind of partner clients truly deserve in their corner, one that brings senior talent, proven expertise across strategy, creative, and digital, a refined eye for aesthetics, and a premium, boutique approach that’s high-touch and personalized.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Onda is a new-generation boutique marketing agency built lean, people-first, and designed to move at the pace of today’s brands. We are a digital-first agency, and we specialize in strategy, communications, creative and production.

With over 15 years of experience building and rebuilding businesses and leading strategies for global brands, I created Onda to cut through the layers and bureaucracy that often are seen in traditional agencies.

What I’m most proud of is building something that reflects not only what clients need, but also what I believe in, an agency where people come first, standards never slip, and the work speaks for itself. If there’s one thing I want the world to know about me and Onda, it’s that how you show up matters, and we’re here to help brands not just show up, but lead with relevance, clarity, and creative edge.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I have to admit I’m not the most creative when it comes to discovering Miami’s newest hotspots, I leave that to my PR friends who are always in the know. For me, I like to fall back on my all-time favorites, the places I go to time and time again like Bellini and Amal, since they’re perfect for drinks with a view followed by a delicious dinner, and I’ll never say no to one of Miami’s many incredible omakase spots. But honestly, chances are we’d probably end up back at my place making Aperol spritz by the pool.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
To my husband, who’s been my biggest champion and the one who keeps my fire burning, and to my father, my greatest mentor, who’s been teaching me the heart of business since I was three years old.
