We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalie Garcia and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natalie, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I pursued a creative career because since a young age, working in the fashion industry is all I ever wanted to do. When you know your calling, you go for it!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Fashion Happy Hour started as a monthly Fashion Event series offering full event productions and fashion styling services. I also recently launched the FHH apparel collection which has been very exciting! Overcoming challenges in my career was not easy but the key is to keep going. I would like the world to know that working hard is well worth it in the end. Make the right connections, go to the right school for your creative trade, research and you will succeed!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are so many things to do! One idea is to take them to have brunch with rose petal coffee at this authentic coffee shop called Cream Parlor in the Upper Eastside area in Miami. After that, take a walk to Brickell City Center Mall and head up to the Sugar rooftop bar to grab a drink after all the fun.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to make a shoutout to Kathleen Ross. She was my mentor when I was working at Modern Luxury Magazine and she continues to play a key role in my success as a Fashion Stylist.
