We had the good fortune of connecting with Niharika Khanna and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Niharika, is there something you believe many others might not?
I disagree with the conventional advice – ‘you should have no regrets’. ‘Regret’ is an emotion. Emotions drive our decision-making more often than we think. If we could put a positive spin on this emotion and utilize it to course-correct, we will find ourselves making improved decisions with better outcomes.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started my career in management consulting which had long work hours, lots of travel, and a gazillion stakeholders. My education from universities like Johns Hopkins and University College London gave me a great platform to meet like-minded and motivated people from around the world. I am about to begin the next phase of my career in New York, within the realm of strategy and analytics at a company in the retail & luxury goods industry. I have my fingers crossed about the adventure that lies ahead!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would dedicate most of my my journey to the support provided by my loving parents and spouse. I have a long way to go to accomplish my goals, but I know, without them the journey would be much harder and challenges would not be as easy to overcome.
