Meet Regina Campbell | Attorney

We had the good fortune of connecting with Regina Campbell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Regina, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
The most important lesson that my business/career has taught me is not to take anything for granted.
Please tell us more about your business. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today business-wise. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
Our law firm is rather unique in the sense that though we primarily do corporate work (e.g., litigation and transactional work), we’ve combined a niche area within family law that caters to complex cases that deal with primarily high net worth clients. These high net worth clients require their family law lawyer to have experience in corporate law, as well as family law. Our firm is also unique as I have an entrepreneurial/ business background that adds value to our client’s cases and matters.
Nothing comes easy, each step, each business has been a learning process that has brought opportunities to me both personally and professionally. I have overcome most challenges in life with sheer determination and faith that what I am doing is what I should be doing and that I can accomplish anything that I set my mind to.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc. In your view what are some of the most fun, interesting, exciting people, places or things to check out?
Well, of course, I would take them to the beach, which beach would depend on my friends’ vibe. The beach would either be in South Beach where we would rent some chairs or a cabana or Key Biscayne which is more chilled. A visit to the Standard Hotel, Cipriani, or Lucali is a must, food is always a must with me! We would probably rent a boat, do some snorkeling, and boating all up and down the coast. I would insist on doing several spa visits at either the Biltmore Hotel (near my house), SLS Brickell, or the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and walk and talk for hours in South Beach, Wynwood, Brickell City Center, and the Grove.
Alright, so let’s jump right in! The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there a person, group, organization, book, etc that you want to dedicate your shoutout to? Who else deserves a little credit and recognition in your story?
Credit is given to anyone that has ever helped and believed in me, as there is nothing that is ever accomplished alone. That list includes my family and second families that have acted as my surrogate family without question and have always been there (e.g., friends, children, employees (Ricardo Rincon, Serena Correia, and Sofia Rivas), colleagues, and clients).
