We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephanie Agudelo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stephanie, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
I one of my habits that has helped me is being persistent and never giving up. I’m constantly in this mind set okay I accomplished this , so what’s next.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What people describe my work is very colorful, narrative, and out of the box. I get excited about the creative process of making the photo the supplies I get for the idea, seeing the model in the element of making the image happen, and finally seeing the image all put together. My biggest challenge I face constantly is being able to keep making something new. I don’t like being stuck in a routine.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Honestly I love Beans & Barlour! I have a weakness for sweets and that place always hit the spot on creative desserts and drink specialties.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Dwight Mathis has been that friend who I don’t know where I would be with out him. Before I met him I was serving tables and trying to do this photography hustle on the weekend. I was essentially working 7 days a week long hours on both jobs. I didn’t quite make the money I needed to make or the progress I wanted either. When I started becoming friends with him he open all these opportunities and believed in me. I quite my serving job and now I work in a creative company with Dwight Mathis.
