We had the good fortune of connecting with Yirett Clemente and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yirett, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Self-improvement. I wanted to give 100% of effort in a project of mine. Working for other companies helped me to grow and understand that I had the enough capacity to take the risk of doing what I liked and being able to work for my own dream. For me, it is important to fulfill each daily objective and be happy doing what I like the most, I understood that in this life we must dedicate time to what we really want to do.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. I graduated from Nuevas Profesiones University, major in Advertising and Marketing. During the completion of my degree, I noticed the passion that I have for photography and the art involved. I slowly started taking pictures for fun, specifically of animals and especially butterflies. Since I was little, I have always been creative. I like photography, singing, painting, fashion and dancing. My whole life revolves around art and photography was inspiring for me. To create an image with a composition of lights and to apply an edition for me is to make a canvas, it is to express art and it fills me with life. My main focus is in portrait photography. I like the style of magazine photography and the definition of art expressed. I am known for the portraits that I do, the colors that characterize my photographic style and the retouch I give. I am very proud of all the art that I bring to people and where I am today. It has not been an easy road, but it has not been difficult either. In the beginning, it is a slow process, but due to the experience that I have earned, I consider that the key to everything is to be constant. Photography takes time, and it is a world of innovation. You constantly have to be learning about the new and experimenting to create good pieces of art. many photographers who are starting will think that everything comes quickly, but the reality is that you have to be very patient and consistency is the main key. You will be able to see many photographers in the market and many at first may feel threatened because a photographer from their locality has more scope than him and the reality is that you should not feel that way, we must all support each other, there is room for everyone. Photography is art, it is not a competition, and that is essential for all beginning photographers to know.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Florida has beautiful places. I am located in Orlando and I would recommend going to the beautiful beaches, Sarasota is my favorite area. If you want to feel adrenaline, the theme parks like Universal Studios and Bush Garden are the best. Orlando has great food venues The H Orlando is a divine place to eat, Bocas Grill and Chroma Modern Bar + Kitchen are amazing too. For lovers of places to take good funny photos this Selfie WRLD and the Museum of Illusions.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank my family who are constantly with me supporting me at all times, my partner and my pets. I receive a lot of affection from each person that surrounds me and accompanies me on this path and I am grateful for that.
