Tania Arguelles | Lash Artist & Entrepreneur

I am from a city called Chetumal, located in Quintana Roo, Mexico. Since I was young, I followed the expected path: study, work, and meet societal expectations. I obtained a degree in Commercial Systems, which encompasses business administration and marketing. However, I never had the opportunity to start my own business or actively participate in a company. Instead, I developed my career in the educational field. I am from Philadelphia. I come from a family that are music lovers. My mother was an entertainer and my father was an entrepreneur within the show business world. As I was growing up I was exposed to the pro’s and cons within the two perspectives. The result was a firm understanding of what it means to be and artist but also what it means to make a successful living within the music business. Sort of a merging of the business of music and the creative side as a musical artist. The cliche being “when art and business collide it equals turmoil and chaos” for me that phrase always added up to “understanding and success”.
