What They Know and We Don’t

We asked insiders and experts from various industries to tell us something they think outsiders are unaware of and we’ve shared a few of those responses below.

Pursuing a creative career came from my love of spending time with my grandfather. He was a photographer and a painter, an amazing one at that! Hearing how he spoke about the beauties of creating, inspired me and pushed me to find my own beauties of creating. I’ve always loved looking at the world behind my camera and capturing the beauty I see since I was a child, but it became something serious to me when I realized our society is oddly filled with insecure people who don’t realize their true beauty. I pursued an artistic career because drawing was the only thing that I was interested in as a child and I excelled at it. I was (still am) an introvert by nature and drawing allowed me to avoid others and to become more involved with the my unconscious mind; also reading sci fi novels and riding my pony out on our 200 acre farm (so art, science, nature).
I abandoned art during the insane adolescent years of my life, trying to be a part of all of the clubs and clicks. I actually had a few panic attacks during this period of time because I wasn’t being true to myself; thankfully was not hospitalized. Read More>>
I am pursuing an artistic career because I want to share my talent with the world. I want to express my inner truth and meaning in this universe. The drive to create is renewed within me constantly. In recent years, I’ve focused on video production, as well as teaching others how to film and edit. I also run my own Instagram blog, which challenges me to constantly create fresh content. Read More>>

There’s a passionate force within me that’s always needed to build, design, express and transform. Creativity has always been a compulsion for me, a natural extension of how I move through the world. Whether I’m painting, writing, cooking a beautiful meal, or building a business that’s never existed before, I’m constantly pulled toward creating something meaningful, something new. I’m fiercely drawn to ingenuity and reimagining what’s possible, taking ideas that might’ve been overlooked and shaping them in a way that feels fresh, resonant, alive. Read More>>

I have always had a passion for music. Music is embedded in the core of my soul. The problem was is that not everyone saw the same passion with-in me. As a young child my parents had me play soccer, and baseball. I did not have the felling to play or the passion for either sport. My mom use to sing to me right before I would go into surgery (for ear issues). Since then every time I feel down or some type of way music is what brought me comfort. In High School because of my size I was told that I had to play football. I was miserable, I found myself chasing everyone else’s dreams except mines. My mom and dad started me out with piano lessons at the age of five. I then went and got guitar lessons. Music is me and I am music. I write, sing, produce, and compose my own music. Read More>>
