I believe balance is vital, in both micro and macro perspectives. It’s easy to observe in nature that everything navigates towards a balanced state in a healthy setting. Everything will break and disappear sooner or later if it is out of balance. For instance, living in an unbalanced way can easily affect our health in a bad way. There is also a spiritual aspect to what balance means. Purely rational thinking won’t get us there. I think today’s society forgot about it and we have to reclaim that true wisdom. Read more>>

This is something that has been on my mind a lot lately. I’m a mama of 2 littles – a 3 year old spunky girl and a 10 month old sweet, wild boy. I recently quit my teaching job to go full time with photography. With that, I also scaled back childcare so I could spend more time with them during the week. As I grew my business, it became harder to find time to work. My most productive hours are late at night when the kids are sleeping and during their naps. This is a really hard topic for me to talk about. It touches tremendously my pain points. Since I was born, I moved to other countries every 2-3 years because of my father´s job back then. So, I was used to leave behind: friends, culture, language, traditions, relationships, home. This is something I want to talk about even though it is very difficult for me because it shaped my personality and helped me become who I am. Although it was harsh, I have developed core attributes and skills like tenacity, the agility to adapt over time to radical changes, to endure hard times, and be resilient. Read more>>

I am a true Libra at my core…we are represented by the scales. I balance everything in my life as much as I possibly can but those scales can tip back & forth. It is extremely important to me to never get so out of balance that I tip over in any direction. Read more>>
