We had the good fortune of connecting with Andreina Pradas and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andreina, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have been studying happiness since I was 11 years old. In addition to that, I have had the opportunity to work with thousands of people in different fields (non-profit, health care, hospitality, education, and mental health). Those 20+ years of experience in Human Resources gave me the opportunity to understand the relationship between happiness and productivity.
Then, my path towards my happiness program started when I had to face a depression and I had to find ways to get out of it. That is when I created my happpiness program. Years after that, I started volunteering and teaching my happiness program in different organizations and groups, until the day came and I had the courage to leave the Corporate world to focus 100% in my company: Inhance, LLC. I know happiness can be learned and that is why I do what I do.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
With Inhance, LLC, we help companies and people to create happier cultures and happier lives. What sets us apart from others is the combined experience: 20+ years of Human Resources, wellness and energy healing practices, and coaching. We have combined products that use those 3 elements, and we just launched our online Happiness University. The first program we are offering is Live in Happiness: 7 steps, 7 practices for each step. The 7 steps are: My happy thought, my happy me, my happy life, my happy relationships, my happy body, my happy spirituality, and my happy purspose. Every step contains 7 days of practices and exercises that help people to change their lives. How? – by changing and working on your thoughts, your self love, the approach you have towards life, your relationships, your spirituality, and your purpose in this life. The practices we offer have tranformed the life of many!
Happiness starts within you. As you change your life, the rest changes. You cannot control what happens but you can control how you react to it. That is one of the things we teach people in our programs. To manage life in a more positive way.
And why happiness, because more than 86% of the employees are unhappy (worldwide) – Gallup, 2021 – More than 350 million of people suffer from depression – Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illnesses in the U.S., affecting 40 million adults aged 18 and older, or 18.1% of the population every year. ADAA, 2021.
Happiness is linked to productivity and health. That means that companies and people can be healthier and more productive if we give them the chance to work on their happiness. I have cases of companies that have doubled their productivity levels by using my programs.
So, happiness can be learned and the time is now. What I would want to let people know is that it does not matter where you are in regards to your life. That it does not matter what you have been through. You can change your story. You can reset it. You can start a new one. You can be happy!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Oh well….. I am not one of those who goes to night clubs, etc…. I have been there, I have done that :). So, I would:
Day 1. Beach – South Beach – so, my friend can get a little bit of taste of Miami. Then, walk around Lincoln Road, eat at Ceviche 305.
Day 2. Go biking around Key Biscayne – visit Virginia Beach, and the surrounding areas – eat at Artisan and get the dessert at Piononos (a must). Go to Wynwood and walk around. Maybe have dinner in one of the many restaurants – maybe Coyo Taco.
Day 3. Olieta park: biking, kayaking… relaxing at night
Day 4. Everglades D
ay 5. Go South – to the Keys and maybe spend the night there. Visit all the keys and areas.
Day 6. Beach time. Relaxing. Dinner at Ghee.
Day 7. Bye Bye time 🙂
