Meet ARIANA ORTEGA | Mortgage Broker

We had the good fortune of connecting with ARIANA ORTEGA and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi ARIANA, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
My business helps my community by providing free information and resources. Whether they are first-time homebuyers or experienced investors, we have offered webinars and in-person seminars to teach, guide, and serve as a tool for them to achieve financial freedom through real estate.
My team and I are very passionate about this mission. We understand that even if someone has been in the industry for years, already owns property, is an investor, or holds a license, there is always something new to learn and ways to improve. That’s why we are here—to support, educate, and empower our community.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We started the company about three years ago, but we truly began putting significant effort into it over the past two years, even though we have been in the industry for more than a decade. It hasn’t been easy, as there is a lot of competition in the market, but I believe what sets us apart is the human touch we bring to every transaction. We are very responsive—whether it’s an email or a phone call—and we are always upfront and clear with our clients. When challenges arise, we don’t hide from them; instead, we do everything possible to find solutions and make the transaction work.
We see every deal as a true team effort. It’s not just about us as mortgage brokers—it involves the realtors, the title company, the insurance providers, and, most importantly, the borrowers themselves. Our clients’ experience is at the heart of everything we do.
We’ve been able to overcome challenges by constantly learning, asking questions, seeking advice from experts, and always focusing on solutions. Along the way, I’ve learned that these transactions can be very emotional. As professionals, it’s our responsibility to make clients feel secure and confident in their decisions—knowing that their investment is the right one and that they are doing it for the right reasons.
As a woman, a Latina, and an immigrant, being able to accomplish this dream—despite the odds and despite what others may have thought was impossible—means a lot to me. I truly love my job, I love helping people, and I love what I do. Our mission is to continue growing, serving, and conquering new ground.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I get to show someone around, it will definitely involve sand, beaches, and Latin music. I would take her around Fort Lauderdale, show her Las Olas, and enjoy a walk through Riverwalk. I’d also bring her to Hugh Taylor Birch State Park—it’s one of my favorite spots. We can walk there, and since it’s right across from the beach, there’s even a bar with live music. The vibe is just incredible.
Another place I love is Riverside Market Café. It’s perfect because I can bring my dog, and they offer a wide variety of beers, so there’s always something new to try.
I’d rent bicycles so we could go for a ride at Markham Park. We could also walk along Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, explore Wynwood with its great art and nightlife, and grab a couple of drinks there.
And of course, we can’t forget Hollywood Boulevard by the beach. We could go for a bike ride or roller skating, discover new places, and spend a fun afternoon together.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I definitely couldn’t be where I am today without God. He has been amazing—opening doors for me, putting the right people in my path, and giving me the energy and drive every day to wake up and do what I do.
I will be forever grateful to my business partner, who is also my brother. He has been my rock since day one, and I truly wouldn’t be able to do this without him. I call him my “trusted underwriter.” His knowledge and sharpness are incredible. He is definitely my motivation and my role model.
In addition, church has helped me a lot with my mindset. Many books and podcasts have helped me overcome laziness, victim mentality, and poor habits. I also love attending coaching seminars and working on strengthening both my mind and my spirituality, because I believe that’s the foundation of everything.
