We had the good fortune of connecting with Danna Gleizer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Danna, how do you think about risk?
Life is all about risks– calculated risks that is. In my own personal experience, that factor is no exception. It is safe –ironically– to say that I wouldn’t be here, where I am today, without taking several risks of my own.

I managed to graduate with a Master of Science in Mass Communication by the age of 21. Simultaneously, I also was developing my Real Estate career, and trying to live like a regular 21 year old. Did I play it safe to accomplish that? It would be a lie to state that everything was set and guaranteed.

Taking the risk of not only balancing studies, the development of a career, and overall life, became the best investment I could have ever made. Risk taking truly is essential.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Currently, I am working as a real estate agent in South Florida, I also work in marketing/advertisement with Optimar International Realty.

What sets me apart from others is that I truly am fortunate enough to be able to dedicate myself full-time to my career. I was able to finish all of my education quite early on, now I just have to continue developing my professional life and I feel that I am set. Accomplishing what I did at my age is something I am beyond proud of, mainly because I never dreamed of achieving both degrees and a real estate license by the age of 21.

While I was growing up, I wasn’t exactly the top student… Once I got to college, something completely changed inside me. I performed better academically and advanced beyond what I thought was possible. This led me to complete both my bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in just two years, along with my real estate license. Everything ended up fitting together and its why I am where I am today.

There are always ‘challenges’ along the way, I had to complete both degrees through a pandemic, my graduation was virtually celebrated, and etc. However, from the set backs very valuable lessons can be learned. For example, adapting to life no matter the circumstance, is something that I learned with the process of everything lived from March 2020 and on. The importance of accomplishing things for oneself is something that also became firmly ingrained in me. Above all, the reward of taking a risk is a lesson I learned along the way. Through determination, perseverance, and discipline, I pushed myself out of that comfort zone and fulfilled objectives I would not have dared to pursue in the past. Without these challenges and lessons, I simply wouldn’t be where I am today.

I would love for the world to know that what I achieved can also be done by anyone that is committed and determined to realize their ambitions; and that you can accomplish much more than you know!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting Miami for a week, I would plan this out:

Day 1: Beach Day in Sunny Isles Beach (by far, the nicest and relaxing beach to go to). We would grab a quick lunch in Baires Grill (Sunny Isles), then at night we would go to walk around Lincoln Road.

Day 2: Visit Aventura Mall for a shopping day, grab lunch at Bella Luna, and eat dinner at Houston’s (NMB – my favorite restaurant ever).

Day 3: Head out to Brickell City Centre, eat lunch at Bellillo (delicious and authentic Italian pizza), explore Wynwood when the sun goes down.

Day 4: Visit the Van Gogh exhibit, walk around Midtown and have dinner at Salvaje.

Day 5: Go to Bal Harbour Shops, eat lunch at Makoto, head out to have a coffee at The Alchemist (Aventura).

Day 6: Pool/Beach Day, eat dinner at Doma (Wynwood) and go to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden for their night event.

Day 7: Head out to Coral Gables/Coconut Grove area, grab brunch at Greenstreet Cafe, enjoy miracle mile and walk around/shop.

Bonuses: Shop at the Outlets in Sawgrass, Kayak at Oleta River, Strawberry picking at Knauss Berry Farm.

Eats: Zuma Miami, Ojo de Agua, Rosetta

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Three very important figures in my life deserve mainly all the recognition and credit there is! My mother and father, Marina & Hernan Gleizer, as well as my life coach and mentor, Alejandra Garcia Calvo. I would not be where I am today without their support, love, and light. This is dedicated to them.
