We had the good fortune of connecting with Daze and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daze, why did you pursue a creative career?
I happen to believe that I was born and destined to be a creative. The ability to express and showcase my skills and talents is something that I am passionate about and extremely grateful for.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Well I like to believe that who I am as an individual already is what sets me apart. From my look , my style, my personality, my perspectives and ideas and ability to see beyond the boundaries of what others have in mind. The way my mind works and how others are able to interpret or understand it
, even by allowing me to have artistic freedom on projects and putting there trust in my vision.

I’m proud I was able to leave my mark and make an impact in my own way across the board in all my skills and abilities as an artist/ entrepreneur.

It took hard work , dedication, determination, consistency, commitment, compassion, risks, being resilient, failures , trials and errors , mistakes, continuous learning and improvements, ups and downs but above all , the best word to sum it all up to get to where I am today professionally and continuing to head to where I am destined to be is PASSION.

Never easy because it’s not supposed to be . How else will you learn anything about life or yourself if everything was so easy , not to mention the hard earned impact it has in one’s life. The lessons that one learns from others and from yourself all around is what makes it the greatest blessing, and drive to continue to grow and thrive and progress in the journey we call life.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love adventure and surprises so with that being said all my peoples and friends or those who come out this way to my hometown I always get a feel for what they like or what they are into and want to do and of course on how much they can do. But I’d definitely take them out to explore nature out in The Everglades away from city and civilization away from stress and responsibilities so to allow them to connect and ground themselves while exploring the sacred lands . Maybe a day trip down to the keys or Bimini . I’d take them to eat a variety of amazing foods our city has to offer, Cuban, Nicaraguan, Peruvian, Sushi, mixed cultures etc . I love eating and trying new things. I might even cook up something for them .

I’d check out if any events or exhibits are happening in the area .
Just depends of course on what they are into. Not everyone has similar interests of course but needless to say I’ll definitely make sure that they have a memorable time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Well first and foremost I’d like to thank the higher Powers up above and all around, for if it is one of the only reasons why I am here .

Secondly, I have to pay homage to my mom and dad for doing the best of their ability on what they could on raising me.

Of course I’d like to send my deepest gratitude and love to all those who have been with me since day one, all my supporters in every endeavor of mine whether it is in my field of barbering, tattooing, spirituality, acting , modeling, photography, painting, graffiti, clothing apparel and lifestyle etc . I wouldn’t be here today without the continued love and support from my fans and supporters that allow me to express myself and find an appreciation for what I do and offer.
