We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabriella Schwager and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabriella, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Routine and Planning! Those two traits have always just been a part of my life, even in high school. I would always joke around with friends that I lived my life in a Three – Year plan mode. It is still true. Routine is so important, because it keeps you grounded and structured. Planning allows you to set mini, or large goals and create a way to achieve each of them. I don’t even need to set an alarm clock anymore in the morning! At 5 am my body just knows to wake up and get the day started!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

Stars Marketing Group is a full service Marketing & Talent Agency that focuses on branding and marketing Reality TV personalities and Social Media Influencers. I would have to say the two biggest factors that set us apart from others in our space is the fact that we have a large number of Bravo’s Below Deck franchise cast members on our roster, and that was on purpose. We at Stars wanted to be the destination and spot to give the much needed personal attention to our clients where some of our competitors, you’re just a number.  We value each of our client’s journey and path to how they got here and it’s reflective in our slogan, “Every Star has a Story.”

We have worked with many well known brands who are looking for a handful of personalities from one franchise and we can deliver our talent accordingly. For example, we have 4 of our talent involved in a large campaign currently with Bacardi Rum! It has been fairing as an advantage for us to stack it this way.

I would say I am most proud when we have huge brands / event spaces seek us out, and then after a social campaign / or in person event want to re-sign / re-book with our talent again. I think it speaks volumes to the way our talent performed and how we are able to work well with other companies.

I don’t think anything is easy, but it is indeed all doable. Overcoming challenges can be hard – especially when each challenge is different. Knowing where to turn for specific help on various issues is the key.

I am definitely still learning lessons along the way. Being open to them and growing from them is what makes you successful, in my opinion.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Well we definitely live in a great area to play tour guide!

The only place to go and have a drink in Ft Lauderdale would be No Man’s Land. It’s brand new, has an amazing atmosphere and co-owned by one of our own… Bobby Giancola!

I would love to be able to take them to Wynwood, it’s the best place to walk around and take in all the beautiful artwork!

It would be so fun to rent a convertible and drive down to Key West and take in all the fresh air.

Joe’s Stone Crab is also another must, bibs and all!

If you are in Florida you can’t leave without the obligatory Everglades airboat ride to check out the wildlife!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

The first person that comes to mind would have to be my mom. Independent, confident, driven and successful are the first few words that come up when I think about her. Growing up she “sat at the big boy table” if you will at a well known advertisement agency in NYC. From when I was young she instilled in me independence and work ethic. She was talented and creative and there is no question I got my “eye” for certain visual aesthetics from watching her. I hope she is looking down and feeling proud!

Currently, my husband Eric and my close friends are my day to day support. Eric always finds a way to keep pushing me and has been very successful in his careers since we met in our 20’s. I value his opinion when it come to business and sales, which at times is not always the same as mine, and that can be very beneficial.

Starting my own business in my late 30’s with a young son at home was hard. I have an amazing group of friends that have been more then supportive. I know each of them are proud of me and are always there for me.

Professionally there are two names that come to mind who have been Vital to me for Stars Marketing Group’s growth and success early on, Michael Schreck, CEO/ CO-Founder of CSMG and Gina Ragusa of The Showbiz Cheat Sheet. Michael Schreck and I have been close friends since our college days and he has made a huge name for himself within his industry. We are fortunate enough to have him sit on our board. His guidance is invaluable.
Gina Ragusa is a writer in the space my talent is in, Reality TV and Social Media Influencing. She is professional and always there to share the successes and happenings of our talent.

Absolutely none of this would be possible if it were not for my Business Partner and close friend Mitch Adelstein. His knowledge and business acumen coupled with his mentoring provides me with the tools I need to thrive and grow.
