Meet Sophia Sabbani | PR & Celebrity Relations Consultant

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sophia Sabbani and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sophia, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I originally come from the world of public relations, particularly in the luxury, fashion, beauty, and hospitality industries. But I’ve always known I wasn’t meant to follow just one path. I’m curious by nature and passionate about exploring different aspects of the creative and strategic process – from celebrity relations to influencer partnerships, global press strategies, and event production. Starting my own business allowed me to open new doors, work internationally, and stay true to that versatility. My very first client was the Global Gift Gala hosted by Eva Longoria during the Cannes Film Festival – a powerful start that set the tone for what was to come. Shortly after, I was appointed to oversee VIPs globally for LVMH during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. That strong start really confirmed that I had made the right decision.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been a rewarding and beautiful one. I got to where I am today by opening small doors along the way. Early in my career, when I worked for Hugo Boss within the Coty group, I was taught that if a door closes, you have to find another way – sometimes through the window. That mindset has guided me ever since, and it’s something I practice every day.
What I’ve learned is that failure isn’t always what it seems. At first, it can feel discouraging, but with time, I’ve realized everything happens for a reason. Those “failures” often pointed me in the right direction and were essential lessons.
I’m most proud to be able to work every day on projects that truly inspire me, to keep strong relationships with former employers, and to meet new people who continue to inspire me. I’ve pushed my own limits by working in very diverse fields – from beauty, makeup and fragrance, to fashion, hospitality, automotive, underwear, and wine and spirits. This versatility is my real strength. It’s something that’s highly valued in the US, even if less recognized in France.
Recently, I’ve also ventured into the sports industry with Roland-Garros and the Paris Saint Germain soccer team, which has been a new and exciting challenge. I like to think of myself as a chameleon – someone who learns to adapt and find their place in different settings.
Above all, what fills me with pride is to look back at the little Sophia Sabbani, the 8-and-a-half-year-old girl who dreamed big – dreams she never really dared to imagine would come true. And today, seeing some of those dreams materialize is incredibly rewarding. There’s still so much to learn, so many discoveries to make, and I’m eager to keep evolving.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Honestly, I could talk for hours about Miami. It’s my favorite place on Earth. Miami isn’t just sunshine and parties; it’s a city full of contrasts and moments that stay with you.
One of the greatest joys here is the quality of life. I love waking up very early (and I’m usually not a morning person), stepping out of my door, and simply sitting by the sea to watch the sunrise. It’s a quiet, almost sacred moment – the sky slowly lighting up, the ocean calm and endless, a fresh orange juice in hand. Those peaceful mornings are my little secret, my way to connect with the city’s magic.
But Miami also offers a different kind of magic at the end of the day. At South Pointe Park, there are meditation and yoga classes right on the beach during sunset – especially powerful during moon phases. The atmosphere is absolutely incredible: the sun dipping into the horizon, the moon rising behind it, a sense of calm and energy all at once. The first time I joined one of these sessions, I felt so relaxed the next day it was like I’d had a full-body massage. It’s a truly unique experience that shows a softer, spiritual side of Miami.
Of course, Miami’s beaches are legendary – Sunny Isles, North Miami, Surfside – all my favorite places to relax and soak up the sun. But if I had to pick my absolute favorite spot, it would be the Four Seasons Surf Club. It’s my little paradise on earth. Staying in a room with a sea view feels like a dream come true. And their Champagne Bar? Mixologists create custom cocktails at your table, passionately crafting each drink to your taste. It’s intimate, luxurious, and one of the best ways to experience Miami’s hospitality. Food is also a big part of Miami’s charm. The Sunday brunch at the Setai is simply top-notch, a perfect blend of delicious food and vibrant atmosphere. Another must is Joïa Beach – having lunch with your feet in the sand, feeling the ocean breeze, pure bliss.
When the night falls, I’d take my friend to a rooftop bar in Brickell for a cocktail and to watch the city light up. Miami by night is another world. But honestly, some of my most treasured memories are spending Sunday afternoons on a boat with close friends, barbecuing, laughing, and cruising the waters until the sun sets. That slow, joyful lifestyle is the essence of Miami for me.
Miami is a city with history, culture, and a spirit that you feel deep in your bones. It’s not just a place, it’s a feeling, a blend of tranquility and excitement, family moments and parties, quiet beaches and vibrant streets.
And one last thing – I adore night drives through Miami. Driving through neon-lit streets, watching the city glow under the stars… it never gets old. I’m in love with Miami.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The very first inspiration in my life has always been my mother. She’s the definition of strength and grace : courageous, sharp, full of heart. She taught me that you can be soft and strong at the same time, that sensitivity is a form of intelligence, and that being bold doesn’t mean being reckless, it means trusting your gut. She’s the reason I go after things with passion, and never halfway. Beyond her, I owe so much to the people I’ve met along the way – colleagues, mentors, clients, friends, and sometimes even people who didn’t have my best interest at heart. Because I believe we learn from everyone. I’m like a sponge: I absorb, I observe, I grow. The good people gave me strength, opportunities, and love. And the more difficult encounters taught me boundaries, resilience, and clarity.
A special shoutout goes to the team at the Four Seasons at The Surf Club in Miami — my favorite hotel in the world. The place has a unique, almost magical aura. It’s one of the most beautiful hotels in Miami, and without a doubt, one of the best in the world. But more importantly, it’s the incredible people I had the chance to work with there who made this year one of the most meaningful of my life, both personally and professionally. It reminded me how powerful it is to work with people who genuinely care.
At the end of the day, I believe we never stop learning. I hope I’ll keep evolving and being inspired by others, and that I can also pass that energy on.
