Peter Martin | Photographer
When I came down to south Florida in fall of 2000 for college, I had no clue what I wanted to be and over a decade spent in undergrad and working nightclubs proved that. Now, as a photographer I travel to stunning locations with wonderful, interesting, artistic people and experience the beauty of our states fashion production, architecture and nature. The wealth of art deco, mid century modern, Spanish architecture and modern luxury real estate is a photographers dream . South Florida is a magnet for some of the top talent in the world, enabling a lens to stay busy and creative. Read more>>
Macarena Fatne | Graphic Designer & Painter
I am inspired by nature—its sounds, textures, combinations, seasons, moments, botany, and birds (I practice birdwatching) or animals in general. Music also inspires me; I always listen to music while working, and it helps me concentrate, bringing me ideas, words, and sensations that serve to imagine and make associations. Going for a walk and sitting in a café to read also inspire me. Watching the sky, sipping coffee, making some drawings or sketches disconnects me from the computer and allows me to reconnect with paper and my body, so I can then bring those ideas back into the world. Success is not solely measured by financial achievements or professional accolades; rather, it is found in the meaningful connections we forge and the positive impact we make in our communities. For me, success is rooted in authenticity and active engagement, both in my role as a private wealth advisor for Northern Trust, and as a dedicated member of various community organizations. It’s about leveraging my expertise to empower others to achieve their financial goals while also fostering a culture of giving back and making a difference in the lives of those around me. Terrance Diggs | Founder and Creative Director of D17
At the end of my career, internally I want to feel content and know I created beautiful products to my fullest ability with the skills that I have. Being a designer of course I’d love to see the world and be spotted at every fashion show with the latest pieces. Out just completing “side quests” but the end goal for me is to become a college professor at some point. I’d love to work with students on how to create products, businesses, marketing, or digital media. My career went from graphic design, to marketing, to starting a business. Read more>>

In 2017, on the cusp of a transformative experience that would profoundly alter my life, I was gifted by a friend as farewell present since I was moving… it was called “You Can Heal Your Life” by Louise Hay. This book became a beacon, guiding me through the impending changes that would resonate not just externally, but within the deepest parts of my being. It taught me a powerful lesson: the path to liberation lies inward. Confronting one’s own self, emotions, and scars is the first step towards realizing that one’s life remains one’s own sovereign territory. Read more>>

Veronica Perez | Spiritual Coach – Artist – Entrepreneur
I would say understanding that I don’t have to walk this path alone and figure everything out on my own. I can ask for support, accept my limitations as well as my strengths, seek co-creation and hire the right people. For example joining a community of female entrepreneurs in Miami as well as hiring a financial advisor, when everyone questioned me, were both game changing decisions. I notice it all comes down to understanding my needs as an entrepreneur and seeking solutions; one skill I’m great at. Read more>>
