In our experience, most folks, including ourselves don’t have enough of an understanding of risk and the role it plays in our lives and careers and so we have made a concerted effort as a team to have conversations about risk with our interviewees. We’ve shared some highlights below.

Leandro Zen | a seasoned serial entrepreneur

I see risk as something inevitable and necessary for growth. In my sector, especially when we talk about fintech and real estate, innovation only happens when we accept a certain degree of uncertainty. Throughout my career, I’ve taken calculated risks that have allowed me to expand my businesses, first in Brazil with a credit fintech, and now in the U.S. with Zink Capital. Veronica Pezzo Russ | Real Estate Agent

As an Italian new Real Estate Agent working in the competitive Miami market, I see risk as a necessary part of growth. Moving here in the United State three years ago, was a significant risk, but it pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me build a unique perspective and a new life from scratch. Taking risks has allowed me to connect with multiple persons, explore innovative marketing strategies we don’t have in Europe, and stand out in a crowded market. Every risk I’ve taken has taught me valuable lessons and opened up new opportunities, changing and improving my career in ways I couldn’t have imagined. Read more>>
