Meet Neal Oates, Jr. | Business Growth Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Neal Oates, Jr. and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Neal, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success—and the success of my brand—is intentionality. From the very beginning, I decided that everything I do in business and in life had to be aligned with a clear vision and executed with purpose. Success doesn’t happen by accident; it’s built by consistently making decisions that reflect your values, serve your clients, and position you for growth.
For World Renowned Coaching & Consulting, intentionality shows up in two key ways:
Clarity of Vision – I’m very clear about who I serve: entrepreneurs, executives, and business owners who are ready to attract elite clients, scale their businesses, and establish themselves as authorities. That clarity allows me to design programs, workshops, and coaching that directly speak to their challenges and aspirations.
Commitment to Excellence – “World Renowned” isn’t just a brand name; it’s a standard. I set out to create a level of service that is both exceptional and transformational. Every client interaction, keynote presentation, and program we deliver is designed to exceed expectations.
The lesson I’ve learned is that when you operate with intentionality and excellence, you don’t have to chase opportunities—opportunities begin to chase you. That’s why my clients not only grow their businesses, but they also experience a deeper sense of purpose and confidence in who they are as leaders.
So, if I had to sum it up in one phrase: success is built on intentional action backed by uncompromising standards.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
That’s a powerful question, and I appreciate the chance to share my journey.
I didn’t arrive here by accident. My career path has been anything but linear, but that’s exactly what has shaped me into the coach, consultant, and speaker I am today. I began in real estate, and very quickly I realized that the success of a professional is not determined solely by their technical skills, but by how they think, lead, and serve. I saw agents with the same licenses and tools have drastically different results, and I became fascinated with what made the difference. That curiosity eventually turned into a calling—helping business owners, entrepreneurs, and executives tap into the mindset, strategy, and positioning that separate “good” from world-renowned.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just teach theory—I live what I teach. I’ve built multiple businesses, navigated both economic booms and downturns, and had to reinvent myself along the way. My coaching isn’t about quick hacks; it’s about sustainable growth, authority positioning, and building something you’re genuinely proud of. Clients come to me because they don’t just want to make money—they want to create a profitable business they love, attract elite clients, and position themselves as leaders in their industries.
Was it easy? Not at all. There were seasons of self-doubt, financial stress, and even feeling like an outsider in certain rooms. But those challenges became the very lessons I now use to empower others. I learned resilience, the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people, and the value of betting on yourself when no one else will. Every “failure” was a classroom that gave me new strategies to help others avoid those same pitfalls.
What I’m most proud of today is seeing the transformation in the clients I work with. Watching a business owner go from struggling to attract the right opportunities to being positioned as the authority in their market—that’s what excites me. It’s why I created World Renowned Coaching & Consulting: to provide high-level strategy, clarity, and accountability to leaders who are ready to scale with excellence and integrity.
If there’s one thing I want the world to know about me and my brand, it’s this: my mission isn’t just to help people make more money. My mission is to help leaders grow businesses that create freedom, impact, and legacy. Money is a tool—but authority, influence, and purpose are what create lasting success.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When people visit Fort Lauderdale for the first time, I always tell them, “Get ready to experience the city the way locals love it—laid-back luxury with just the right amount of adventure.” If my best friend were in town for a week, here’s how I’d make sure they saw the very best of what we have to offer.
We’d kick things off with a sunset cruise along the Intracoastal Waterway. There’s nothing quite like seeing the mega yachts and stunning estates from the water—it’s the perfect way to introduce someone to why Fort Lauderdale is called the “Venice of America.” Dinner that night would be at Coconuts, a waterfront spot where the food is as fresh as the atmosphere.
The next day would be all about the beach. We’d spend the morning on the sand at Fort Lauderdale Beach, then head to DUNE by Laurent Tourondel for dinner—ocean views, incredible cuisine, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you stop and think, “This is living.”
Las Olas Boulevard would take center stage on Day 3. From shopping and art galleries to people-watching at sidewalk cafés, it’s the cultural heartbeat of the city. We’d stop at Louie Bossi’s for lunch, enjoy dinner at Chima Brazilian Steakhouse, and then finish the evening at Rooftop @1WLO, with cocktails under the stars and panoramic city views.
On Day 4, I’d slow things down with arts and history. We’d visit the NSU Art Museum and Bonnet House Museum & Gardens, which always impresses visitors with its mix of history and natural beauty. For dinner, Casa Sensei would be the perfect choice—it’s right on the canal, and you can even arrive by boat.
Of course, no trip to South Florida is complete without the Everglades. On Day 5, we’d head out for an airboat ride, spotting wildlife and soaking in the natural beauty. Back in town, dinner at Boatyard would keep the water theme going—it’s chic, nautical, and quintessentially Fort Lauderdale.
Day 6 would be dedicated to luxury and leisure. A private yacht charter in the morning, followed by a round of golf at one of the top local courses, like Jacaranda. That night, dinner at Steak 954—a modern steakhouse right on the beach, with its iconic jellyfish aquarium—would be a highlight.
Finally, we’d close the week with relaxation. A spa day at The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale would give us time to unwind before enjoying a farewell dinner at Shooters Waterfront. To cap it off, a toast at Lona Cocina & Tequileria with ocean views would send them home with memories of why Fort Lauderdale is such a special place.
What I love about this city is the balance—it’s one of the few places where you can experience luxury yachting, fine dining, arts and culture, natural adventures, and world-class relaxation, all within the same week. That mix of energy and elegance is what makes Fort Lauderdale unforgettable.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
If I had to dedicate a shoutout, it would first go to my family. My wife and son have been the anchors that keep me grounded, while also serving as my greatest motivation to keep pushing forward. Their love, patience, and unwavering belief in me—especially during seasons when I’ve doubted myself—have been essential to everything I’ve accomplished.
Professionally, I owe a great deal to my mentors and coaches over the years. I firmly believe that success doesn’t happen in isolation, and I would not be where I am without the guidance of people who were willing to share their wisdom, challenge my thinking, and hold me accountable to a higher standard. They modeled what it looks like to operate with excellence and integrity, and that has shaped both how I serve my clients and how I lead World Renowned Coaching & Consulting.
Lastly, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the books and thought leaders that have influenced me. Works like Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and modern thinkers like Daniel Priestley and Myron Golden have impacted the way I see business, wealth creation, and leadership. I’ve always said that readers are leaders, and investing in personal growth through books has been a critical part of my journey.
So, if I could sum it up: my shoutout goes to my family for their love, my mentors for their guidance, and the authors and thought leaders who planted seeds of wisdom that continue to grow in my life and business.
